Question:
Do i need to clean the unit prior to using?

Answer:
YES, The cone and weights should be cleaned before your first use and after each use. Be sure to clean your hands thoroughly before each use. Clean with warm water and use a non abrasive anti-bacteria soap with no perfumes, then dry with a clean soft cloth and restore back into your carrying case after each use.

Question:
What direction does the cone go in?

Answer:
Place the cone into the vagina with the string laying outside the vagina. Do not place the cone into the vagina with the string first. Inserting the cone should be as easy as using a tampon.

Question:
How do i know if i am using the right weight?

Answer:
Always refer to your manual provided with your vaginal weight set. You can start your program with no weights or with all of the weights depending on your individual situation. Everybody is different.

Question:
How can i tell if the vaginal cone is in the right place?

Answer:
The cone is only placed into the vagina 1 to 3 centimeters. Our contour design helps isolate the area after inserted. The cone must be able to lay in the proper position so it wants to fall out. As the cone slips, this is were you will do your exercise by pulling the cone back up. Only the string should be outside the vaginal walls.

Question:
Do i need to be standing while doing my exercises?

Answer:
YES, You will receive the most benefit while exercising if you are moving around and standing. The weights work off the rule of gravity. The muscles tighten around the cone to keep in place.

Question:
What is the best time to do my exercises?

Answer:
Anytime is good. But, we recommend doing them in the morning or afternoon. This will give your muscles time to build and not become over stressed during your everyday activities.

Question:
What if i feel pain while exercising?

Answer:
This is not uncommon when you first start the program. Your muscles are weak and can take up to 4 to 6 weeks before strengthening. If the pain is extreme stop exercising immediately and speak to your physician. You could experience a light ache the first few days.

Question:
When can i start using the program after childbirth?

Answer:
Speak to your Doctor first. It's best to be fully healed before using. After your doctor gives you the go ahead start the program. This will give you a head start in rebuilding the pelvic floor muscles.

Question:
Can i use the program if i experience vaginal dryness?

Answer:
YES, If you are experience vaginal dryness use a water base lubricant, or wet the cone with water prior to inserting.

Question:
How long will i need to use the program?

Answer:
This will vary from person to person. If you are seeing the results you were looking for then you may stop doing your exercises as often. But we recommend you do your exercises once or twice a week continuously. If at any time you can not hold the largest weight in place then its a good idea to start back to your original program.
